Hibiscus Initiatives is a specialist feminist, anti-racist and intersectional charity supporting Black and minoritised migrant women affected by the criminal justice and immigration systems. For nearly 40 years, we have provided advocacy, advice and practical support to women in prisons, immigration removal centres and communities across the UK. Our work addresses issues including violence against women and girls, trafficking, modern slavery, immigration injustice and social exclusion. We are committed to empowering women, promoting social justice and creating a fairer society where inequalities within the criminal justice and immigration systems are eliminated.
