Due to significant student growth we are looking to recruit additional tutors; you will be either a qualified solicitor or barrister, and have practical experience in this jurisdiction or have a PhD in a relevant area, andhave a genuine passion for quality and excellence. You will enjoy being challenged (by students and course content in equal measure) and be able to adapt to the different learning styles of students and methods of course delivery. You will be eager to share your expertise and become involved in all aspects of enhancing the student experience within our campuses, primarily teaching on our LPC, GDL, BPTC and undergraduate programmes.  Due to the variety of courses and numbers of students, tutors are expected to be present on campus during their usual working hours, although occasional flexible working may be possible. Classes and extra-curricular events are also routinely delivered over weekends and evenings and tutors are expected to work flexibly within these parameters.

We have a particular requirement for tutors who have an interest in and ability to teach one or more of the following subjects; Business Law, Accounting and Finance, Tax or Numeracy. Previous teaching experience is not essential as training will be provided.

As part of the tutor development programme, we will also support you to study for a recognised teaching qualification within your first 18 months of employment.

Tutor £35,500 – £40,500 plus location weighting of £1,550 Senior Tutor – from £44,000 (subject to Fellowship of the HEA and depending on previous legal teaching experience) plus location weighting of £1,550
