The Team and Role

If you would like the opportunity to join a thriving and growing team, Addleshaw Goddard are looking for an experienced real estate finance lawyer to work on the finance aspects of real estate backed transactions.

Our Real Estate Finance team is a market leading team which acts lender side for major banks, debt funds, insurers and other financial institutions and borrower side for investors, developers, blue chip property companies and family offices on domestic and cross-border real estate finance transactions across all real estate asset classes.

You will be working closely with the Partners and other team members and will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of finance work including development finance, hotel finance, Islamic finance and mezzanine finance transactions in sectors such as hotels and leisure, PRS, student accommodation, logistics and offices.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required

> Qualified lawyer with 5 + years PQE with relevant experience from a major law firm
> Strong academic qualifications from degree upwards
> Strong technical knowledge of the legal framework surrounding finance transactions generally, and strong document drafting skills
> Experience of working on real estate finance transactions
> Self-motivated, proactive, detail-focused, a person of sound judgment
> Enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work, ambitious and confident to deliver at the highest standard
> Fast learner with commercial approach
> Excellent client relationship skills and effective communicator
> Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
> Collaborative team player who will fit in well with our friendly and collegiate team, someone who is willing to pitch in to support other members of the team
