About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Lawyer with expertise in IT, Technology, and Outsourcing to join our Tier 1-ranked national practice. This role involves advising on complex, high-value commercial and technology projects, helping clients achieve innovation and operational transformation. You will work on medium to large-scale transactions across sectors where digitalisation, outsourcing, and regulatory change converge.

You will support a prestigious client base, including FTSE 100 companies, household-name retailers, energy providers, and manufacturers. The role includes advising on high-profile digital, sourcing, and transformation projects, contributing to the growth of our commercial technology offering, and mentoring junior team members.

This position aligns with our strategic growth to meet increasing demand for regulated technology, data, outsourcing, and transformation advice. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE).

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support on technology, outsourcing, and commercial contracts, including digital transformation projects.
• Negotiate IT and BPO outsourcing, SaaS/cloud service contracts, licensing, and supply chain agreements.
• Manage a diverse workload of large-scale and mid-market transactions.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team development.
• Support business development and thought leadership initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

• Qualified lawyer with 4+ years’ PQE in commercial and technology law.
• Experience in IT outsourcing, SaaS/cloud, software licensing, or technology infrastructure agreements.
• Strong client relationship and transaction management skills.
• Sector experience in retail, energy, manufacturing, or digital health (desirable).
• Familiarity with regulatory issues impacting technology contracting (desirable)
