Salary £68,390 – £78,160 p.a. inclusive of London Weighting plus a Market Forces Supplement of £9,480 p.a. A Market Forces Supplement (MFS) is paid in addition to the annual salary (which may be withdrawn, reduced or increased during the year).

The work of the Public and Corporate Law Division is very varied, including company law, information law, charity law, education, public health, open spaces, elections, constitutional law, governance, local government law, standards and conduct, and ecclesiastical law. The role may involve the provision of legal advice to elected members, external organisations, including London Councils.
Applicants should have experience of managing a team and be able to demonstrate a very high level of expertise in relevant legal areas.The successful applicant will be a qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executive with an appropriate level of post-qualification experience. All appointments will be made on the basis of demonstrable experience, skills and abilities.
