As Commercial Legal Counsel for the world’s leading independent conservation organisation you will collaborate with colleagues responsible for developing and managing relationships with corporate organisations.
As member of our Legal & Compliance Team you will support the securing of new impactful partnerships to help catalyse change at scale, grow support, raise funds and get WWF into the daily lives of our potential supporters while inspiring millions to act. This will involve providing accurate and timely commercial contractual and non-contentious legal advice to internal stakeholders as well as working with commercial partners. We will look to you to negotiate, draft and advise on contracts. You will also create and maintain standard corporate partnership agreements and associated guidance notes. Important will be the ability to manage organisational risk and provide beneficial and cost-effective solutions in negotiations.
A qualified solicitor or barrister holding a current UK Practicing Certificate, you must have experience of non-contentious commercial contracts. Good at multi-tasking, you will excel at building relationships, inspiring trust and confidence as well as display sound judgement and high ethical standards. You will also be able to synthesise complex information and present it clearly. You will have an eye for detail and a commitment to our mission too.
