Competition & Antitrust Associate / Managing Associate (4–8 PQE) – London or Manchester
Join our leading UK-focused Competition team and work alongside UK and international partners on complex, high-value antitrust and regulatory matters. This is an opportunity to play a central role in the continued growth of the practice while developing your career at a pivotal stage.
What You’ll Do:
• Advise on merger control, FDI, cartel investigations and behavioural antitrust matters
• Support on major competition litigation and enforcement cases
• Lead smaller matters and key workstreams on larger mandates
• Advise clients in regulated sectors including energy, financial services, telecoms and transport
• Work closely with our competition litigation and international teams
• Contribute to client development and broader business development initiatives
• Apply strong project management skills to deliver strategic, commercial advice
Who We’re Looking For:
• 4+ PQE competition lawyer with strong UK and international merger control and behavioural experience
• Experience gained in a comparable private practice or in-house environment
• Commercially minded with the ability to apply legal principles to complex fact patterns
• Collaborative, proactive and motivated to progress to senior roles
• Client-focused, detail-oriented and confident building long-term relationships
