Job Description

The Bank of England is seeking an experienced legal professional to take up the position of Deputy General Counsel – Central Banking and Financial Stability. This is an exciting and technically demanding role, reporting directly to the General Counsel and requiring significant people management and leadership experience. A key focus will be to provide strategic leadership of the Legal Directorate’s work in advising the Bank’s internal corporate functions; market operations, banking, notes and payments areas; Resolution Directorate; Financial Market Infrastructure Directorate; and the Bank’s Financial Policy Committee.
