To be a success in this role you’ll be a fully qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive, possess the confidence and knowledge to advise at appropriate levels across the organisation, and have a track record of handling technical issues. Ready to show that you care deeply about the environment, ideally you’ll have some previous experience of advising in relation to flood risk. We’ll also expect you to be ready and willing to get up to speed quickly on new legal issues.
The role sits in a team of six based in our Exeter and Birmingham offices and works closely with other specialist lawyers in the wider Area FCRM and Planning team, and also with the National Flood Risk and Planning Team. If you’re an exceptional candidate with an outstanding skill set we’ll consider assigning you to a base at our other legal hub locations of Peterborough, Reading, Leeds, Warrington or Bristol.
