Overview

PRS for Music are recruiting for a qualified Technology Lawyer. This is a newly created role, and is being offered on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful applicant will have good commercial experience and support the business on all matters related to IT and Technology procurement and related agreements. You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and other commercial documents, with a particular emphasis on technology and IT

About the Legal team

The company’s in-house law firm with industry experts providing specialist legal advice across all areas of the business. They do strategy, policy, governance and anti-piracy as well as the nuts and bolts of legal work. PSR for Music focus on continuing to develop their diverse team into essential business partners.

About You

Qualified solicitor, with a minimum of 2 years PQE gained in-house and/or in private practice with relevant technology experience

Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to build strong relationships with all colleagues within the organisation you will enjoy working as part of a wider team

Knowledge of the music industry is an advantage, though not essential.

Education

-> Degree level qualification (2:1 (or above) LLB in Law or equivalent)

-> A minimum of 2 years PQE
