Are you a Lawyer with good contract and commercial law experience? Can you manage your own workload with minimum supervision, working at a fast pace? About the role
You will work closely with teams across the charity, in particular Macmillan’s innovation, cancer services and technology directorates, advising on a wide range of contracts and legal issues at a senior level. In particular you will focus on innovative commercial partnerships and projects for cancer provision, and be adept at handling data protection and intellectual property issues in contracts.
About you
You are an English & Welsh qualified solicitor or barrister with good post-qualification experience, and good contract, commercial and related data protection experience. You will be able to hit the ground running, and be adept at working autonomously and managing your own workload with minimum supervision. You will also be able to offer practical, commercially sound advice, potentially outside your field of knowledge or expertise. A background working in-house, or in the charity or healthcare sector, is desirable although not essential.
