The Employer

The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the world’s largest law schools. With an impressive history dating back to 1876, they employ over 1,000 staff and have over 14,000 students studying on their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with an alumni network in excess of 100,000. Ulaw were the first-ever independent institution to be granted degree awarding powers and in 2012 they gained university title. With a rich heritage and a reputation for innovation and contemporary teaching practices, we continuously focus on developing the best legal and business minds. In 2016, Ulaw opened our leading Business School, further enhancing our reputation as a full service legal, business and educational training specialist, operating from campuses throughout the UK, Berlin and Hong Kong and an Online campus.

What really sets Ulaw apart from other universities is the guiding principle that future lawyers and business leaders should learn in a realistic, professional and contemporary context, with plenty of practical interactive engagement. That’s why Ulaw keeps their contact hours high and the teaching groups small.

ULaw Online is the University’s dedicated online campus bringing together a community of students and professionals from law and business using the latest technology to provide a high quality and flexible way for students to achieve their ambitions.

The Role

Ulaw understand that todays’ students and tomorrows’ professionals want a choice in how, where and when they learn – ULaw Online provides this flexible option. Ulaw continue to see rapid growth and success in our online campus and are now recruiting Tutors and Senior Tutors to join us on our exciting journey.

Due to significant growth, Ulaw is looking for individuals who are passionate about education, who believe that the student experience should be second to none and are excited about using technology to do that. You will be a qualified lawyer with proven successful practice experience, supported by a desire to help our students achieve that same career.

If you enjoy working from home, why not consider becoming part of Ulaw’s dedicated team and help build their new world of learning? They already have an experienced and committed team working in their digital campus – do you want to join them? You may need to attend any of their campuses for meetings and training as required.

Ulaw offers an excellent range of competitive benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, private medical scheme, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, training and qualifications, and travel loans. As part of the tutor development programme, Ulaw will also support you to study for a recognised teaching qualification within your first 18 months of employment.
