The University of Law are looking for a Tutor or Senior Tutor in Policing who will design and deliver a range of modules on our policing programmes and especially on our Pre-Join Degree in Professional Policing BSc (Hons).

You will be a former police officer with a genuine passion for inspiring the next generation of police officers.

For this role you will have a strong operational policing background and at least a Master’s degree in a relevant area.

You will have knowledge of academia, teaching/police training and at least some experience of course design. You will also be familiar with key legislation, professional standards, the Police Education Qualification Framework (PEQF) and the Policing Vision 2025.

Experience with regard to the areas of Response Policing, Community Policing, Digital Policing, Road Policing, Public Protection and Police Investigations is especially desirable.

Tutor £35,500 – £40,500 (depending upon skills and experience) Senior Tutor – competitive salary starting from £44,000 (subject to Fellowship of the HEA and depending on previous teaching experience).
