Please note that classes are also routinely delivered over weekends and evenings and tutors are expected to work flexibly within these parameters.

We have a particular interest in tutors with skills in equity and trusts, private client, business law, contract, public law and ethics. Separately we are interested in tutors who can teach on the Bar Practice Course in civil and criminal law.

As part of the tutor development programme, we will also support you to study for a recognised teaching qualification within your first 18 months of employment.

Some posts within the University are subject to a DBS check – you will be notified of this during the application process.

As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals are currently under-represented within the University – which does not reflect our diverse student body – we would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All appointments will be made on merit.
