We are currently seeking an Associate Counsel specialising in employment law to support HR and the business by providing practical and commercially sound advice on legal issues in relation to a variety of employment and pension issues across EMEA.
The Associate Counsel will drive good business results from challenging ER situations by successfully managing ER issues, pre-dispute conflicts and assisting with managing employment-related litigation. Additional tasks will include, but will not be limited to: drafting, reviewing, analysing and negotiating employment clauses of commercial and employment agreements; drafting, reviewing and assisting with the implementation of global employment and compliance policies.
Applicants must be fully qualified in English Law (3-5 years PQE), and must also have previous experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment handling employment law matters in the UK. EME A multi jurisdictional employment law experience is preferred. Strong knowledge and experience in a broad range of employment law areas in both contentious and non-contentious matters is essential. Experience in HR policy and procedure creation as well a simple mentation is essential. In-house legal experience within a media, sports and or entertainment organisation, preferably at a multinational company is desirable.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a full time, permanent role and will be based at Chiswick Business Park, London. Travel to other office location in London will be required. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Occasional long working hours will be required at times to meet business deadlines.
